Originally from New Mexico, and now residing in San Francisco, California, I earned an undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and a Master’s in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. I spent most of my career at Mellon Bank and its successor, BNY Mellon, where I was the CEO of one of the bank’s divisions.

I firmly believe that education is one of the most important things to give children the opportunity for a good and productive life. I have been involved in building a school in Nepal, publishing local language books in Cambodia, girls’ scholarship programs in Cambodia, and, with the Asia Foundation and Books for Asia, helped publish the first
Khmer English language dictionary since the fall of Phnom Penh. I am very excited to be part of the CFI team.
